East of the Rock
The expression “East of the Rock” means away from family and away from rules.
It also means dangerous exercises often against enemy aircraft who just might forget the rules too and start a war. Above all it means port calls in captivating Mediterranean cities where exotic restaurants, beaches, and women abound.
JD took in all these things and put aside the rules, except for one. He wasn’t supposed to fall in love. But then he happened upon Juliette who put aside her rules as well.
East of the Rock is a soaring intimate view into the world of Naval Aviators and those they love. It reveals the witty humor as well as the passion and bravery of warriors as they put their lives on the line.
