No one can comprehend the reason someone goes on an insane rampage stabbing or shooting family, friends or police. Nor can they make sense as to why a young person commits suicide. The reasons are multiple but there are two threads that run through many of them: cannabis and guns. It is undeniable that today’s high strength cannabis and THC products affect developing teen and young adult brains. Some are affected dramatically more than others and become psychotic. Some permanently. Young people and adults become not who they were. Wives lose husbands. Parents lose children. Children lose friends. The marijuana industry has duped Americans into believing that their products, sometimes 40 times stronger than in the past, are completely safe. Likewise, the gun industry claims guns are not a safety issue and push for widespread ownership, heedless of the risks. This is the story of young friends who discover their own separate truths.  In a series of seemingly unrelated twists and turns the author describes how the United States has become the deadliest wealthy country in the world.
