STORIES OF RISK, RELATIONSHIPS, AND THE CHOICES THAT CHANGE EVERYTHING
PEOPLE. PRESSURE. CONSEQUENCE.
From the cockpit of an F-14 to the streets and lives of contemporary America, Mark Marchione writes about people navigating pressure, freedom, loyalty, love, and consequence.
“Every parent of a tween or teen should take the time to read it, for awareness and insight. It is a great read and will make you think about connections you may never have seen before.”
– A REVIEW FROM A SPARROW SINGS FOR US ALL
WHEN SOMEONE YOU KNOW BECOMES SOMEONE YOU DON’T
A SPARROW SINGS FOR US ALL
Three friends begin on familiar ground. Their lives do not stay there. A Sparrow Sings for Us All follows the people caught inside a changing social landscape shaped by high-potency cannabis, guns, mental illness, friendship, family, and loss.
Rather than approaching those issues from a distance, the novel tells their story through the people living with the consequences.
BEYOND THE COCKPIT
THE ROCK NOVELS
The Rock novels follow Navy pilots through a world defined by discipline, danger, camaraderie, and the irresistible pull of life beyond the rules
In West of the Rock, the exhilaration of flying is inseparable from its risks. Pilots face unforgiving carrier landings, long deployments, strained relationships, lost friends, and questions about the beliefs that once drove them.
In East of the Rock, the story moves overseas, where dangerous exercises and Mediterranean port calls open the door to a different kind of freedom. For JD, one rule remains clear: don’t fall in love.
Then he meets Juliette.

WHAT READERS ARE SAYING
THESE NOVELS DRAW FROM THAT PERSPECTIVE WHILE EXPLORING VERY DIFFERENT WORLDS, FROM NAVY FIGHTER AVIATION AND MEDITERRANEAN ADVENTURE TO CONTEMPORARY ISSUES AFFECTING FAMILIES AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACROSS AMERICA.

MARK MARCHIONE
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Mark Marchione served as a Naval Aviator flying F-14s and attended the Navy Fighter Weapons School, better known as TOPGUN. After leaving active duty, he continued flying F-14s in the Navy Reserve before beginning a 33-year career as a commercial airline pilot, flying primarily to international destinations. That experience gave Mark an unusual view of people, places, risk, responsibility, and the moments that can permanently alter a life.
